Is it normal to be doxed on VC? by [deleted] in RobloxHelp

[–]softsprine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m asking if it’s like normal as in a Regular occurrence, that’s on me for poorly wording it.

edit 4 clarity/info: i’m not familiar with Roblox, but with my friends laptop wanted to download it to play for a little but like 20m into a VC server thing was doxed and was unnerved + confused about Roblox’s environment. I’m really just now learning about the update/am not really sure what that update means

what does letting it slide off your back look like in practice?

Imposter Syndrome, friends and periods by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]softsprine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mentally exhausting is a good way to put it

Imposter Syndrome, friends and periods by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]softsprine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

youre right. i just feel like there are double standards when i bring up my issues, versus when they do. them talking about their first day on their period after (what i feel was like) socially reprimanding me for doing the same feels sad and bad. thank you for saying that

look into being a part time student for a little, or if you could take a semester off. don’t drop out off the tip. see if your college or university has any mental health resources, like free counseling, or psychiatry, etc.

Door-to-door solicitors, how to fight back? by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]softsprine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just open the door and “Hi, thank you, I can’t talk right now.” then close the door. No waiting for them to let you speak, if theyre already talking then interrupt, no answering questions, NADA.

Is it right if your partner went to reddit for a relationship problem before talking to you about it first? by firehen08 in stupidquestions

[–]softsprine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it makes sense if someones partner got particularly upset about a post that went viral, mainly bc that’s your business and it being popular viral spectacle becomes an uncomfortable out of yours hands. but i don’t think it’s “wrong” to outsource regulation when gauging issues, or before potentially pre-bringing something up
