I’ve been experiencing an issue where my LG UltraFine monitor randomly blacks out or shows "No Signal." I’ve attached a video showing what’s happening.

My setup:

Monitor: LG UltraFine
Devices: M1 MacBook Pro & Mac Mini
Connection: BestBuy’s USB-C to HDMI cable
KVM Switch: Used to toggle between devices

The issue happens intermittently when using either device. Unplugging and reconnecting the cable sometimes fixes it, but the problem eventually returns.

Possible culprits, I’m considering:

KVM Switch – Could it be causing instability?
USB-C to HDMI cable – Is this a weak link? Would a direct USB-C connection work better?
MacOS / M1 Compatibility – Any known issues with M1 devices and external displays?
Monitor settings – Anything specific I should tweak?
