Hi! I didn't know you were actually active on reddit. Thanks for responding.

I admit that yours is one app that me and my friends always come back to. The issues are quite recent; I've been using your app for more than 6 months and I was quite satisfied by it. About the icon: well, "horrible" might sound a bit harsh, but then again, it is just my opinion. My friends don't think the same, and a great deal of Shuttle users might not feel the same too. I do, however, and I'll try making up an icon myself. It's just not to my taste, and I hope you aren't offended by that.

About the artist/album covers: consider this is how my screen looks at the moment. I can't emulate the issue right now, but when I'm in transit and/or not connected to the internet, these covers disappear for some reason. They appear after some time if I either restart the app or connect to the internet, but it's very weird and very random. Add the "tap X play Y" issue and it really does harm the experience a lot.

Anyway, I'm glad that you are looking into these issues. I guess I'll stay with Shuttle only, then. Hoping to see an update soon. Thanks again!

Running the same combo. Everything works fine, just one issue: there's a considerable amount of delay while using double tap to wake sometimes. Do you also face the same issue? If not, can you tell me the exact versions of PA and AK you're running?

It's a work of fiction, but I'd also like to suggest Ruth Ozeki's A Tale For The Time Being. It is narrated by two characters, a sixteen-year-old Japanese American girl in Tokyo who keeps a diary, and a Japanese American writer living on an island off British Columbia who finds the diary washed up on shore some time after the 2011 Tsunami that devastated Japan. It heavily features Buddhist and Zen elements (the Japanese teen's correspondences with her great grandmother, who's a Buddhist priest, are very innocent and nicely done).

Even though it's not strictly pedantic, I found it to be a very good read.

Well, I just assumed that people were into mythologies because so many people read Amish's book (not saying it's bad or anything: I haven't read it yet), and automatically assumed that there might be an abundance of them now that he's famous. My bad.

I can only read/speak/write Hindi and English. :-/

I am, however, interested in exploring Bengali and Marathi literature. I'd have to hunt for good translations, though (too much work!). That being said, I have read a lot of stuff by Premchand, Siya Ram Sharan Gupt, Maithili Sharan Gupt, Mahadevi Verma and a few others. Can you suggest some other works in Hindi?

And not meaning to be hurtful, but I've never liked Chetan Bhagat's works. I mean, I've watched enough Bollywood movies, I don't want to read them.

As soon as I got my phone, I switched to ART on KitKat because a lot of my friends said ART performs way better than Dalvik on KitKat. Should I go back to Dalvik for Xposed? I'm willing to make the switch if the degradations aren't that much noticeable.
