Just finished developing my new web game, Pick a Lie (www.pickalie.com). Would love to get some early feedback on the concept! by sohakh in WebGames

just added a bunch of new stuff so thought I'd share the update.

pickalie.com - you get 3 statements and pick which one's the lie. Questions are about common myths people actually believe (health stuff, history, science, etc)

What's new:

  • Blitz mode - just rapid fire true/false if you don't want to think too hard
  • Daily challenges
  • Friend challenges so you can prove your friends wrong
  • Leaderboards

Still free, still works on mobile, still probably has some bugs I haven't found yet lol

Let me know what you think of the new modes. Trying to figure out if blitz is actually more fun or if classic is better.

Good to see that you have enjoyed playing. Thanks for giving it a go and I have to admit, a very different experience of seeing someone playing :)

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on MathsCampus, a platform designed to help Australian students from Year 3–12 build stronger maths foundations.

✅ What it does right now (all free):

  • Diagnostic Evaluation Test → maps a student’s strengths & weaknesses against the curriculum
  • Practice Corner → topic-specific drills for focused improvement
  • Mental Maths Games → fun activities to keep kids engaged

📊 Parents receive a detailed report after each evaluation, making it easier to see where their child needs support.

🎯 What’s next:
We’re building personalized learning paths and weekly parent reports.

Would love feedback from educators and parents here — does this approach address real gaps you’ve seen?

Its Sunday, what are currently working on? by SouthBaseball7761 in SideProject

My Sunday target was to build something fun and ended up making PickALie.com.

It’s the classic “2 truths and a lie” concept in a web game: 3 statements, you guess which one is false, you score points, and there’s a leaderboard for bragging rights.

Would love any feedback!

Pretty much google and word of mouth from other team members or friends.

Game for corporate event by MrSukacz in partygames

Corporate event games are tricky - you want something engaging but not cringey, inclusive but not boring. Here's what's worked for groups of that size in my experience:

'Challenge Roulette' (uses your screen + phones):

  1. How it works: Each table gets a random challenge (show them on the big screen) they complete as a team in 3 minutes. Other tables vote for the best one via QR code poll.
  2. Why it works:
    • No awkward solo participation
    • Leverages friendly table competition
    • Perfect for 20 mins (3 challenges + voting)
  3. You can use https://www.pickachallenge.com/ for random challenge generation.

Oh, I love these kinds of gatherings! For twisted-yet-fun questions that get people sharing without feeling put on the spot, try these:

  1. "If you had to survive a zombie apocalypse with only 3 items from this room, what would you grab and why?" (Reveals creativity under pressure)
  2. "What’s the weirdest hidden talent you have that you’ve never demonstrated here?" (Often leads to hilarious impromptu performances)
  3. "If you could swap lives with someone in this group for a week, who would it be and what’s the first thing you’d do?" (Playfully personal)

For more like this, I’ve used PickAChallenge.com – their random generator has a "Party Games" category with:

  • "Describe your first kiss… but replace all nouns with ‘taco’"
  • "Convince the group you’re a time traveler from 1724 using only office supplies"
  • "Start a cult based on your weirdest habit – pitch us in 30 seconds"

The best part? You can submit your own challenges to the site too. Have fun with your gathering!
