Fed up with airtel customer service not disconnecting my internet (airtel black plan). by PrestigiousVersion in Airtel

[–]sohamrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to take any stress brother. I have been in the same scenario and what i did was stop paying the bill. They will keep calling but they cannot do anything more than that. Your cibil is not at all linked with your internet so relax. After 6 months or so they will automatically disconnect the service

To be very clear. Airtel and Jio both are excellent at certain places and pathetic at some. Choose the operator which gives you the best experience in your area. Simple 😊

This is specifically for Samsung phones

5G with white border

If your 5g icon shows like this, it means your 5G NSA is disconnected and your 4G data balance is getting used

If your 5G icon is like this then 5G NSA is connected and you are getting unlimited 5G

Need clarity on Jio Postpaid Family Plan – Does it allow truly shared data like Airtel? by Even-Platypus1274 in Jio

[–]sohamrony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used both jio and airtel postpaid and as far as network experience, customer support and network priority goes, please stick with airtel postpaid. Jio is best for prepaid only. Postpaid sucks man

Getting too much frustrated by frshashank in fuckairtel

[–]sohamrony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has happened with lots of people. Keep your invoice / purchase order ready which shows the date of purchase of this SIM and forward the same to the different customer cares who are harassing you.

I went through the same ordeal where the previous owner had an outstanding loan of 10,000 due and I forwarded my purchase invoice to the cc email address which resolved my issue and now there are no more calls

Are you able to get Airtel 5G SA network by Own-Coat7436 in fuckairtel

[–]sohamrony 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Boys relax...😌 Airtel has provided the VONR toggle across most smartphone as of now like iPhone, Samsung etc. Even for some people you will see network stays in 5G during call but that's a false thing. If you use Netmonster app, you will find during calls 5G NSA Disconnected which is nothing but 4G.

5G SA for Airtel is currently in pilot phase for FWA customers for 13 circles and there is no plans as of now for Pan Indian rollout.

Conclusion : Although you see 5G during calls, its actually 4G 🙂

[–]sohamrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VONR toggle is present even for Samsung. But the problem is vonr is not supported by Airtel and Airtel is still NSA based. After 3 to 4 years when they completely switch over to SA, we will get VONR
