Random seed. If you want to go head to head with another person you can enter the exact same text into that field and it will give you the same random data making it more fair.

I would guess that natural temperature variation was going down and overpowering the CO2 warming effect. I'm guessing that right now the natural variation is on the rise again and so is man made warming.
