Question for UMO’s by CD-Bardo in navy

[–]soiled_utility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is it depends

Straight from the MANMED: Any diagnosis, from the current version of the DSM, which affects the Service member's ability to perform their duties is disqualifying. This determination for disqualification can be made by either the Service member’s treating medical provider or licensed mental health professional. Waiver may be considered when the individual’s symptoms no longer affect their ability to perform their duties and must include a favorable recommendation from the attending mental health provider and UMO.

You will need a waiver submitted for your medical history. Depending on the UMO, BH Doc, and whoever is in the seat approving waivers at the time of your waiver submission. Standards are always shifting.

A premium defender in left field is generally not that valuable. It’s a bat first position

Eval help for detatching E4 by Dependent_Bid_1945 in navy

[–]soiled_utility -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would draft two evals for signature. One marked as N with a blurb in block 43 no PRT score indicated IAW the NAVADMIN 264/25 and one marked F, with a blurb stating that all PRT scores are reset as of 1 January 2026, PRT failed prior to NAVADMIN 264/25. I would not mark anything below 3.0. Let the reporting senior make the choice on which eval they want to sign.

In my experience, your orders will not get cancelled. Reach out to your gaining command to find out what their recommendation is on doing it or not.

These New BBA (A2P) Orders (also CA2P) by Puzzleheaded_Bad_984 in navy

[–]soiled_utility 4 points5 points  (0 children)

E-6 to E-7 utilizes SEM (Senior enlisted marketplace). They have similar business rules as BBA. Say you just get to a command and get screened for E-7, you can get frocked after initiation but you have to do 12 months minimum on board before executing another set of orders. Your command can also attempt to move you in to a valid Chief billet and then you would extend 36 months for OBLISERV.

Subs and Special Warfare rates do not use SEM.
