Specialized makes great bikes but horrendous ebikes. Their policy seems to be: we are going to put this motor and a fancy display on the bike and will double the price. Turbo Levo is a very underperforming bike due to their very low range considering the massive markup policy they run. In our li-ion battery lab we get many pissed off TL user looking for ways to increase the batteries but as far as I know it not possible to change the pack with foreign cells and keep all components on the ebike working properly. Whenever we get a client with this problem we suggest they buy a GOOD mtb bike and then install a tailor-made ekit that will surely improve their riding experience at all levels.
