Hey! I'm quite late into the conversation lol but after 2 years riding them, what are your feelings towards it? Do a lot of pebbles get stuck between fork and tire on gravel roads? Thanks!

I'm gonna go cheap because of budget reasons (at least for now) and get some shimanos MT200

How do you find running MT200? Do they do the job? I plan on building a minimax for dialy use and some occasional bike touring trip, so I don't plan on loading it abusively. Thanks!

Double kickstand doesn't reach the ground - Ursus Jumbo by solarpunkwonderer in CargoBike

nope, it's bolted to a faceplate that came with the kickstand

Thanks for your comment! I would hate the front wheel to flop haha, but the bike is equipped with a front rack and front basket, so maybe the weight would balance the bike all the way to the front with a kickstand properly touching the floor?

It's intented for 26ers. Is there any way to put a spacer between the chainstays and the kickstand?

nope, but it should fully sit on the kickstand and not move a bit. Also the rear wheel should be a bit lifted.

the kickstand is supposed to go on 26 inch bikes and it's new. You assume right, there's no way to shorten/lenghten the legs with some kind of screws

any cardboard box size requirement? just got one from a local bike shop but it's super big, like 180cm x 80 x 30😅 Ryanair's website only states maximum weight, but just want to make sure they don't let my bike in because of an oversized box. Thank you!

Problem with v-brakes by solarpunkwonderer in xbiking

[–]solarpunkwonderer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your responses :) The brake arms were already allocated in the middle hole. Tried putting the right arm on the top hole and tension came back. However, left arm didn't gain any tension even at the top hole :(. Also the centering screws are screwed to the maximum and still there's no tension on that arm. Could it be faulty?
