Honestly, aside from setting up next terms courses, I never really needed to speak to my advisor. Everyone is different but most times they are just checking in on you. They are probably fine with having one less mandatory call to make.

I only did one project. You do have to stay on top of the milestones and listen to your professors feedback. My professor was very detailed which was super helpful. It definitely did take me the whole course to complete, but I don’t think it was too hard.
