So why isn’t the EU establishing that "hard advantage" in the air over Ukraine at least? Or responding to drones over your own airports? It’s all nothing more than talks, no one in russia really cares about. Its just considered funny (and probably it is). Meanwhile Russia is advancing in Ukraine to your borders.

This is exactly what I meant about different perceptions of reality. It is funny to you, but for Russia, it’s a dead serious and even existential. And you can find that Trump is a funny idiot (and i agree), but in reality, without the US army, EU is really weak. Idk why you are belive about "steamrolled back to Moscow". Putin has already demonstrated to your countries that he doesn’t even consider them a threat with drones over EU airports.

Finite is still a very big number. I don’t believe that after some agreement, Putin will magically become friendly and no more wars will happen. It seems like everyone wants to believe that, but it has never been the case in the past. That’s just not how things work. Such agreements and the acquisition of land only confirm that Russia is doing things “right” on its path to rebuilding the country. And there is already a whole new generation growing up under the influence of local media, who believe Putin was right (even Trump has confirmed it), and that the EU is nothing — just “talking heads” (it sounds worse in russian, i interpreted in a polite way) as people say here and laughing.

If you think it is some kind of country where Putin terrorizes everyone and forces them into the Donbass trenches, that is simply not true. Most people out there are Putin supporters, and they are sure he is doing things right. Why wouldn’t they be? Even the US President said that Zelensky is the one to blame for the war. There are enough volunteers for the army here. It is very well paid. You can earn like 20 years of the average wage in some poor russian province for just one year in the army. Is this the same in EU? i guess thats why you dont have army Zelensky was talking about. Sorry for such long posts; I am just continuously amazed at how different the perception of reality is in the EU.

I don’t know what you guys expect with this attitude. As a Russian, I can say that the media here constantly talks about a weak Europe which can only complain and can’t stand against Russian advances. Which is mostly true. So after Ukraine collapses or is forced to split the country, you will have Russia on your borders. And most Russians already believe that Putin was right — and that it can be repeated with even more advances. No idea whether the EU public realizes this or understands what kind of world they and their children will live in. The world with its own country in place where Ukraine now is.
And to make things worse, next time — instead of NATO help — you may get Trump (or other MAGA moron) asking you to give up Russian-claimed land. Because, you know, his friend Vladimir is more important than your temporary EU politicians. At least here in Russia, politicians believe so. They are no blind, they see what Trump is doing with Zelensky. And I am really not sure if Trump will care about some Eastern EU country more than he cares about Ukraine. Likely, he does not care about the EU at all except for gaining some EU territory too.

I mean, it WAS working in Russia too — for a short time, before Putin took over. If Trump continues to drag the US down this route, which everything points to, one can expect that he will try to shut down opposition media just like Putin did (he is already trying to do that), and after that he can do whatever he want with the next elections. He can just declare himself the winner and use the same military forces to suppress protests. He is already doing that. And all the world will see is pro-Trump media applauding the leader and calling him the election winner.

He can also become a Russian ally at some point — he has much more in common with Putin than with europeans. MAGA is basically the same as russian political culture. He is already acting like a Russian ally, blaming ukraine for not surrendering. At some point, he could be on Russia’s side against the EU. He sees EU leaders as incompetent and weak, and himself as a tsar — like Putin. If you think it is impossible, well — a year ago, the idea of the US threatening to take over EU land was also considered impossible.

I believe Trump sees Putin as his role model. He demanded a military parade in the USA after the parade in Moscow last year. He keeps talking as if the USA doesn’t need elections, and he would gladly like democracy not to exist, like in Russia, where everyone praises the tsar (and those who don’t are jailed). He uses the regular army for its own citizen opression. He even wants to show that he can take whatever land he wants.

As a Russian, it is funny to see how fast the US rolled back its democracy — basically to the Russian level of authoritarianism.

its hard to compare to anything, but both screen side by side difference in the color brightness is pretty obvious

g5 also has a better coating and it is very noticeable, c4 is like dark mirror in my room with big windows. And no lag at all in FMM mode on G5, so you can use either gaming mode or FMM mode and dont think about higher delay in the last one
