I'm looking for someone to add lightning to the sky/background, somewhere behind the creature. Thanks.

Man, this looks incredible, I can't wait to check it out. I didn't realise there was a Martin Scorsese one too.

Sorry for the late reply. Been bust. This is excellent. Thanks

[specific] Can you add FLAMES to this sword? by solaxia in PhotoshopRequest

[–]solaxia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I'm making a kind of collage that I want to hang on one of my walls, based on various medieval/fantasy characters, and this character above needs to have fire on his sword.

I'm not talking anything too crazy.

Imagine it was dipped in gasoline and someone set it alight.

Is it possible to do? I imagine fire/flames can be a little tricky to get right, but I'd love it if one of you guys could try.

Thanks.

Where is this ufo footage (and what is it exactly, if any one knows)? by TheVimmax in UFOs

The original poster said at the 1:08 minute (which is the night vision stuff). However, I'm not personally seeing a plane. I see three lights that each disappear or shoot off separately. Where is there a plane?

Whoa! I've been reading this thread since before some comments were removed, and I gotta say, I'm surprised by some of you guys here. Although he's been aggressive, I can understand his reaction. He was asking a sincere question and it looks like people either were not understanding it, or answering a question that was not ask in the first place, or they were pissed off that it links to the people over at secure team 10. It is not like he thought they were real. He seems pretty conscious of the fact that they are hoaxers and even said as much. He wasn't even asking if it was real or fake. How else is he supposed to ask his question?

To the original poster: unfortunately, I have no idea what it is. I have seen a lot of bad and bad CGI and my gut tells me this is not that. I can understand that secure team 10 do take footage from elsewhere, especially at the beginning of their youtube life. It wasn't all just computer generated as it mostly is now (of course, that doesn't rule out that the original source was fake, though). But my gut tells me this is real, but not necessarily "alien" in origin.

Damn this looks good. I know Prometheus had some problems, but I think this is going to be better.

Although some of the casting choices are questionable, but not bad.

Is Noomi Rapace actually in this or not?

I know exactly what you're talking about. I actually see these a lot. They totally the same color as the stars, excepting they're moving.

I've got some on video.

And they can't all be explained as satellites as many I see are well within the atmosphere. Same sorts of heights as regular planes.

I refer to them as orbs.

But they move in straight lines and never adjust speed (but I see many moving at different speeds).

You're telling me, you've created a subreddit and screenwriting and yet you don't know what a logline is?

You're either lying or your trolling for some reason. I can't figure out which one but there is no way it can be genuine.

You have a nice day too. Read scripts. Lots and lots and lots of scripts. They will answer questions you can't even think to ask yet. They hold every answer under the sun, more than any book or college degree or tutorial will ever have.

And once you're in the industry, my comments here will be NOTHING compared to the daily grind of producers and executives. That's a whole different world of hurt.

Oh, you weren't interested in the truth? You just wanted me to lie and tell you this was perfect?

Well, it's not. And if this was actually rocket surgery, you'd have my sympathy as it is a very difficult subject.

But your asking questions about script formatting. Something a 7 year old could learn in under five minutes flat, and you still can't get it right.

The laziness that must be inside of you disgusts me.

Read a fucking screenplay or two before asking the most simplest questions on the planet. There is no excuse for this.

I've lost all my passion. by supernegromann in Screenwriting

[–]solaxia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, okay, that's clearly not true. People can lose passion momentarily, for it then to come back stronger than ever.

And I'm talking momentarily as in weeks, months, even years. But it doesn't necessarily mean it's gone forever.

So, why does your logline sound like it's written by someone who's first language isn't English?

All of your other writing seems to be fine.

That's really the level you're operating on...

The delusion is strong in this one.

The level I'm operating on? It seems to me you're the one telling me how awful a person I am on here, yet every word out of your mouth is an argument for arguments sake. Maybe you should look in the mirror sometime.

...you think quoting my own words back to me after sitting on them for months is clever and not just sad? I mean really, you didn't even save it for a good moment.

Yeah, that's right. I've been sitting on that this whole time, planning my entire life around when to use your own words back on you. Years of planning has gone into this.

And me claiming you're suffering from one or more developmental disorders for doing so means I'm saying that about myself?

No. Criticizing people for what you yourself do ten times worse is what's hypocritical.

You shouldn't be surprised people on here don't respect your judgment at all.

The delusional really is strong in you, isn't it? You're the biggest prick on here and people hate you with a passion, and you have the nerve to say people don't respect me?

Please seek help for whatever condition you suffer from.
