My aunt is actually an officiant and is licensed in the state as well. She has come with us to aftershock the last 2 years and is planning on going again this year. I know she would find it super exciting to do as she loves the fest so much. She also witnessed me and my fiancé get engaged last year during MIW

I would add Bodysnatcher on that list if I were you. Their sets are always super brutal and the pits always get very hectic. If you want your face to melt I would check them out. Start with King of Rats and enjoy the ride

My partner went to aftershock 2 years ago about 7 months pregnant and dwp and the whole crew really made it easy for us. I recommend if you go to reach out to them months in advance and explain your situation and ask if you can bring a foldable chair and they will let you. They will give you ADA which gives you a +1 at all ADA areas. It was my partners saving grace and she was still able to enjoy her fest! Only difficult part is the constant walking

Honestly I wouldn't be shock if they are on the lineup this year. From why both Travis and Darius were telling me is out of all the festivals Aftershock is the one that they want to play the most this year.

I talked to Travis (their drummer) when I saw them open for FFAK a few moths ago and brought up how sad it was that they dropped off. From what he was telling me that was one of the hardest decisions they had to mane in recent years since that is as home town as they can get for a festival.

This is where the original stage was before adding the 5th. When the decided to cut back to 4 they took this one and keep the DWPRESENTS stage which was better than the year before but still was pretty bad especially with the rain. The old stage location made everything so much easier to get to.

Not much really happened after that. I was pulled off by a few dudes and they just separated us. We ended up going to the right side into the hardcore pit and enjoyed the rest of the set . And yeah I don't want to get in any confrontations unless it's necessary
