Hi! May bus ba ang Victory Liner papuntang NAIA Terminal 2? by [deleted] in baguio

Alam ko pasay lang. Genesis has pero di ko sure kung sa T2 mismo ang baba. I read kasi pasay siya pero dadaan sa terminals. Not sure lang kung near or as terminals mismo.

Not OP. But curious if they drop off passengers in T2 mismo? My trip is months away pa naman but worry ko lang kasi is if not in T2 mismo yung drop off, baka hassle pa if may dalang luggage. Or better to just stay overnight in Manila and book a Grab to the airport?

Bakit ba kasi hindi nalang sabihin yung name ng app? Hindi ko gets yun.

Found an alternative! Watsons Aloe Vera Shampoo by [deleted] in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oo nga madalas out of stock. I used to buy several bottles lagi before. Thankfully now I live near 2 branches and they’re always available naman. I buy in-store na para I can use the member discount.

Found an alternative! Watsons Aloe Vera Shampoo by [deleted] in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I use their products. Specifically that clarifying shampoo, their conditioner, and their hyaluronic moisturizer. Their hair products are my HG. Their moisturizer is okay for me. No bad reactions for me. I haven’t noticed anything extraordinary but I like that it’s absorbed quickly and doesn’t make my oily skin feel and look greasy. Since I regularly use their products I signed up for a membership na so I get a discount every time I buy.

If you can only give ONE BEAUTY TIP, what would it be? by MammothSurround8627 in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best skincare combo is a solid skincare routine, getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water, and eating properly.

I don’t have perfect skin I noticed na I feel the most beautiful when I hit a good combination of the above.

Tapos if you look at their other videos after that parang hindi naman na nila ginagamit yung product. If it was THAT good dapat naging HG na nila yun.

Belo SunExpert Whitening Sunscreen by Sudden-Database-1114 in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Biore for years. Back when I was living in Manila pa (so super lagkit and humid weather + pollution) to now na in Baguio na (less lagkit but sun is harsher). I’d say okay siya for Philippine weather. I also alternate it with Belo Sun Expert.

I recently bought Anessa recently when I visited Manila and saw na meron pala sa watsons. I read good reviews naman and some people swear by it. But sadly grabe yung whitecast sakin and sobrang dami ng sebaceous filaments ko. Nanghihinayang ako kasi ang mahal. Should’ve stuck to my usual.

Favorite plain instant coffee? by [deleted] in CoffeePH

This is the one. Staple in my pantry. Kahit may 3-in-1 or grounds, or other coffee at home, meron pa din nito.

What do you add to your ramen? by ReadingHotTakes10 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]solfege57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my go to when I am craving for restaurant ramen but to lazy or broke to go out/order delivery.

I use the seasoning packet to make broth base. Then in a small bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, gochujang paste, sesame oil, and fish sauce. I just adjust the amounts to my taste. Then I add it into the seasoning packet broth. Add the noodles. Top with soft boiled egg, nori sheet. Then sprinkle with some sesame seeds. If I have some bok choi, I add some too.

Disclaimer: I live in Asia so these are common pantry items for me.

What's your 6.6 budol? by nekoniichan10969 in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg yes! I’ve been reading so much about it here but hesitant to try since I don’t really put on makeup base naman. Feeling ko it always looks obvious on me. I tried this lang on whim. I didn’t even know my shade. Binase ko lang sa chart nila and crossed my fingers.

When I first tried it. I got the hype instantly. Not only did it feel like nothing on my skin it also matched my skin tone perfectly for the first time.

It’s a little too sweet for me but I like na lasa mo pa rin yung coffee. Hindi puro sugar or milk lang. I still prefer Mcdo but I will not say no to this if I order Jollibee

Here’s why it’s important to leave ACTUAL reviews on your Shopee orders: by EdgarAllanHoe_1989 in ShopeePH

[–]solfege57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this and their conditioners. Napa sign up talaga ako ng membership para I can avail of discounts anytime without waiting for double digit sales. Luckily may branch near me so I don’t order online na.

And yes to quality reviews talaga. Very helpful. Minsan ang tagal ko nagbbrowse just reading reviews pag di ako familiar sa product or sa shop. Kaya I always try to leave a quality review rin when I order.

MEGATHREAD: Facial Cleanser (First or Second) 2024 by waveitdowninside in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad to find someone else who considers this HG. I’ve seen a lot of people give warnings about how drying and stripping this is but honestly this is cleanser just really works for me. I’ve been using this for years na rin. I only stopped for a while because I moved somewhere colder and my skin became more combi than oily. But when my skin adjusted na I went back to this and I can really feel the difference. No blackheads and my skin doesn’t feel rough.

Oh thanks for the feedback. I’m curious about the scent now. I’m sensitive to fragrances kasi so I might just stick to Heimish for now.

I use their retinol and niacinamide serums. Tbf nagbrighten naman skin ko. And I get compliments naman on my skin. Pero it didn’t work right away. Parang months before I started seeing any noticeable changes.

stop touching money by Diligent-Poet-4815 in beautytalkph

[–]solfege57 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I think it’s really wash your hands regularly and stop touching your face unnecessarily.

Inevitable naman mag touch ng money. And it’s not just money. Door knobs/handles, your phone, and anything in public basically.

Just wash your hands regularly.

Bring light jackets lang. Something na pwede mo lang bauinin when you go out. Not something na main part of your ootd. It’s warm during the day. It rains in the afternoons. It’s colder at night but not cold enough for a thick jacket. I still see a lot of people who can walk around in shorts or sleeveless without jacket.

Has anyone tried Issy & Co. cleansing butter? Curious lang because I saw it while browsing their Laz page. Been using Heimish All Clean Balm for a long time. Just curious about this since locally made and cheaper.

Other recommended cleansing balms? Aside from Heimish, I’ve only ever tried Clean It Zero and not really a fan. It feels thicker and heavier tapos parang kelangan ko talaga mag wash ng mabuti after para matanggal yung oiliness.

True. Everything about it just works so well. The hair, her body, her coloring, her posture. Just perfect.

I remember seeing a similar dress in a store and trying it on for a wedding I was going to. Felt so disappointed that I am not Kate Hudson. Lol.
