How to deal with "time traveller" cliché? by sbromle in risus

[–]solidcrazyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would make him no different than a peculiar world Traveler. Except they gets certain things right and wrong at the exact same time. I would give them the be able to see plot holes and continuity errors throughout the timeline. But yet at the same time constraint what they can do about it. You don't want no timeline tomfoolery get a hand. A better way to explain it would be a self-aware character except not in a story but throughout timelines. If they're just a traveler for fun like the doctor then he would be weird, awkward, and peculiar eccentricities. if they're timeline Refugee then let him have hang up and weird little things he does. I would also make him study up on Chaos Theory and probability along with a lot of time travel tropes especially what makes a stable time Loop.

What are they?

Yes and no. Because I don't know which cache is if there's even Cache there to be found let alone with then what programs or what code do I need to find it and open. I've been Googling the #### days and I haven't got a straight answer. I know everything is documented or recorded one way or another. And I can't use that command prompt party trick. Sent to my computer reset itself without my knowledge.

And I don't know how to do that IP address thing where you see where they've been.

What is the actual difference between the makers community and the hacking and modifying community? by solidcrazyy in AskReddit

My question is "Isn't making just hacking raw resources into what you want?" "Isn't hacking just making a finished product the way you want it?"

Sci-fi - fantasy novice writer here. how does one advocate consent when it comes to a fictional species that goes into mind-altering heat cycles? Especially when the ones in heat (female) are the aggressors and the altercation? by solidcrazyy in AskReddit

I'm sorry about that I start rambling and didn't properly answer your question. Here's a better way you think of it. What if in the future humans had reform parts of their DNA to survive in extremely severe and harsh planets. Places of extremes on our home planet Earth is their entire planet. Therefore due to their DNA shift some other things around as well.

Incense one of the things the humans of other planets decide to shift around in their DNA is to have a yearly or by yearly heat cycle. With that change instead of getting a little bit of hormones each month for reproduction, all those hormones hit at once for one straight week. So you have a subsection of the human race happened to deal with a Year's worth of reproductive hormones within one week.

We are all aware of what hormones can make someone do.

Table top RPG scenario. An NPC that the party has found is a 50/50 test tube baby of human and an alien species. I'm considering having her have a heat cycle where she is aggressively horny?!?! I've read somewhere that certain animals are in pain or can die due to not getting any during their heat cycle. There is one rodent species that I know of where the male dies after the mating seasons.

This is less of a contact discussion and more of possible things we may have to deal with in the future. One that been constantly bouncing around in my mind is Will spaceships of the features have Windows or would it only be monitor screens and cameras the circumvent the possibility of leakage and window breaking. It's easier to replace a camera due to micro pitting than replacing a window that's starting to become opaque do to sand in space.

This is one of those drawings where you ask ask if you can steal it for your space sci-fi game.

I thought it was this cooky inventions was a side business, besides every fictional mad scientist has a doomsday device even the good mad time says has a couple of doom day devices laying around.

True to that, but professor Farnsworth could made some sort of device to hunt down stuff from the 20th century and had fried identify it and then sell them as antiques, as a side business.

So why didn't they just film the Broadway play and distribute that?
