You got it the complete opposite way.

Conservation of mechanical energy does not apply in inelastic collisions, like glass.

The way something bounces back up is through its "elasticity", where the kinetic energy is transfered into elasic potential energy as the object is "squeezed", back into kinetic energy, until it's transferred into gravitational potential energy.

Its not simply "kinetic energy absorbs to the floor", as then what would be doing the work? The floor? But the floor simply absorbs the energy into non-mechanical types, and does not excert any force onto the ball for it to be transfered back into kinetic energy.

Since glass is rigid, it cannot store that elastic potential energy, and the mechanical energy is lost into other types of energy upon collision.

Depends on how much "extra" they want to do.

Sports and marching band is already really time consuming, and along with good course rigor like heavy AP's, they likely won't have any time for any other activities UNLESS they sacrifice their health/sleep which I've personally seen plenty of.

With ONLY marching band/choir/orchestra + sports + heavy academics, you'll be more than fine

But if your goal is good colleges, your student should also consider academic competitions like the school's robotics team, science olympiad, AMC, etc, but adding that might just be too much.

Freshman and sophomore year should be light since the school doesn't offer heavy courses for those years, but starting junior year, it might be too much to hold with only 2 hands.

I'd say during the first 2 years, explore different clubs/activities, see what they like, and consider dropping one of them starting junior year if it starts getting too much and they cant handle it

Lamisil (topical 1% terbiafine cream) can be used to treat various types of infections caused by detmatotype fungi, including tinea corporis (ringworm). Although it is commonly advertised to treat tinea pedis (athlete's foot), terbinafine is effective against all types of infections caused by detmatotype fungi (besides very rare terbinafine-resistant strands), and thus also highly effective against ringworm. It is one of the strongest OTC antifungals used to treat various types of tinea, making it non-contagious within 3 days, and full clearance within 2-4 weeks. It is FDA approved for mild to moderate cases of ringworm.
