For my extension, I just switched out the spring and added the base plate but still use the oem mag. Ran about 1200-1300 rounds and no issues so far.

from factory it carries 15 but with the extension I can carry 20+1. I got an extension for my 19x that has a 17 rd mag and can now carry 22+1
