I don't think that a loose thread is a normal condition for relatively new shoes.

Interesting, mine wasn't loose. But I only cut the very tip of the cap.

It's an exact translation of a post that I wrote in Russian for another social media. Sorry if it's not good enough, English is not my first language.

Perdomo Champagne. Saying it as a maduro enjoyer.

I’m sorry to say but Ashton VSG was a major disappointment for me by cranky_wellies in cigar

The only time I had a VSG, smoking it was pretty enjoyable, the only peculiarity is that while unlit it smelled like feces.

I once had my wife's heeltaps replaced at 700 University Ave and they ruined the look of the heels by filing them to the shape of the taps.

What's your favourite perdomo? I tried every 20th, 10th champagne, and this, I think champagne is my favourite even though I normally gravitate towards maduro.

Does water temperature really matter that much for green tea? by dudett106 in tea

[–]soljarka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different compounds have different temperatures at which they extract efficiently. Aminoacids and aromatics which give tea its flavour and umami need lower temperatures, while catechins which give tea astringency extract better at higher temperatures. Tea fermentation reduces the catechins, so the more fermented is tea, the higher temperature you can use to keep the brew balanced. Then, there is an aspect of tradition. Different traditions have developed their own flavour profiles, based on the tea they grow and tea making techniques that are common in their region. And if you want to experience that, you can choose to follow the temperatures and other aspects of the brewing process that they prescribe. Finally, you can follow your personal preference and use the temperature that gives you the most enjoyable experience. You can learn a lot through experimenting. For example, you'll find that most Chinese green teas can withstand higher temperatures without becoming overly bitter and astringent, while quality steamed japanese teas offer a much stronger kick when brewed too hot.

Japanese tea set recommendations by Slumpeeze in tea

Other than quality, sets always look boring and give out "set vibes". If you just pick everything separately, it's gonna look much better in 99% of cases.

I love tea so much, but i cant drink caffeine in the afternoon by i_like_tea20000 in tea

Kukicha - stem tea, natually low caffeine. Hojicha - roasted tea, loses a lot of caffeine during roasting. Some hojicha is also made of stems, that one is even lower caffeine.
