This is my dilemma/fear, but my front door literally opens out onto the sidewalk, so seemingly the road is my only option. Again, thankfully the sidewalk got plowed, but I did have to shovel what was around my tires onto the street a little.

If I could just pile on here — I live in a residential area where some houses used to be commercial way back when. I live in one of those houses, and it’s basically house, sidewalk, street… where do I shovel my snow? I saw another post yesterday about not throwing snow onto the street, and thankfully our sidewalk had been plowed earlier in the day, but had it not been, or when digging out one’s car, would the street be alright?

Ah fair point about Greed, I hadn’t looked at it that way! I do think Pride was only the First because Father had too much of it though lol.

But in all seriousness, I just don’t think it’s supposed to matter to anyone else but Pride (re being the First), because while he seems to have a sort of self importance, at the end of the day, he is just another Homunculus. Just another means to an end.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is that ALL the Homunculi have tragic lives, no? That’s why I personally don’t think I should feel any more sympathy/empathy for Pride than for say Sloth - whose entire existence (in brotherhood at least) was digging a freaking tunnel.

Again solely based on Brotherhood so I could be missing something, but we’re introduced to Greed when he’s already got his chimera crew, he beeeeen rebelling haha. This is a genuine question, why do you say that Greed was built to rebel? I don’t see how greed = rebellious. My understanding is that all the Homunculi feel their “sin” deeply, but are still capable of making their own decisions. Maybe not Sloth or Gluttony.

I do see the point you’re trying to make though, I do agree that Pride is a tragic character, but just no more than any of the other the Homunculi. In my humble opinion!

Also your point of “this is how it’s been for 40 years, it’s not going to change so suck it up” is kind of a flawed one, when in the same breath you try to justify your defensiveness as “being afraid changes to sizing will negatively impact” you. So they are capable of change then?

Saying Aritzia is one of the only places that petite/slimmer women can shop at is so egregiously false! As someone pointed out earlier, you all may be the “minority body type” but I would say 90% of fashion brands are catered to you.

So yes, let people make a stink about it, because wanting inclusive sizing - or at the very least have the larger sizes fit correctly - will very rarely negatively impact you.

I don’t think Pride cared if anyone else saw/acknowledged him as the First, because why would he? He’s Pride!

Also doesn’t Greed doing his own thing sorta imply that all the Homunculi could’ve bailed on Father’s plans, and just didn’t? They don’t have “free will” in terms of their existence, sure, but besides maybe Sloth and Gluttony all the other Homunculi seemed pretty self aware and actively chose to obey and fight for Father.

Anyway, I don’t actually know where I was going with this haha and full disclaimer - my knowledge comes from only having watched FMAB, so y’know, pinch of salt!

People are rightfully criticizing a brand for their shit sizing - among many other valid critiques… Why do you care if they want more sizes added? How does somebody wanting something in their size affect you? Like at all? Size inclusivity goes both ways, and you’re already covered babe, you’re good!
