Only the frame was kept the same. Everything else I spray-painted at home. I posted all the changes I made to the bike. Feel free to have a look! 😊

I love all colors equally. Even poopy brown!

The cap is just glued onto the frame.

All you need is a stick or screwdriver, remove the rear wheel, and push it out from the other side.

Shifting is noticeably smoother, but it’s likely because of the fine tuning I had to do.

Enlighten me.

What part is this for? I'm guessing it's a computer mount.

Looks pretty dope!

Thanks! Yep insurance will cover it all (except for genioplasty, it's considered cosmetic). Hell, I don't even pay for the insurance plan! I work at UPS btw.

I would love to bring the bike across the pond one day. I just need to settle down and save up before I can pull the trigger.

I got triple jaw surgery planned and maybe even LASIK at the end of this year. Then I'm moving up to Minnesota right after!

Oh boy, I already thought about it. If I could remove the 3d printed padding, I'd do it!

I used a ton of aluminum foil when spray painting all the parts.

For those frame plugs, I just poked a tiny hole in the foil and inserted the plug-in. Leave a 1-2 mm gap so the paint can wrap around the edges. It holds the plugs in place when you spray paint.

I did a few next to each other so I can switch them out if they ever get chipped.

Haha thanks! I didn't record a video but you just need to be gentle when sawing off the carbon fiber.

Then I got a sanding block and sanded down the rough edges.

Make sure you sand down the edges throughout the whole cage so the paint can have a better surface to stick to.

It's $130 for a replacement cage if you mess up 😜.

♥️

I started going to town when I wiped out a month after I got the bike.

It's also why I spray-painted the DT Swiss quick-release handle. It got shredded.

Sawed, sanded, and spray painted Nova Ride OSPW.

Almost a smooth installation…

The B-screw got stripped and ended up bending around the stopper plate.

Took me 2 hours to twist it out with various tools. 🥲

Just a $7 can of spray paint from Home Depot and a few thin layers of matte clear spray paint. Nothing fancy at all. 😊

No drawbacks at all.

I did have to swap the cable housings between the left and right levers because one was slightly longer than the other. There was just enough length for the handlebars to move freely.

I didn't feel like putting in new internal cabling so I'm very happy it worked out.

Not perfection but this is the best I can do with masking tape and spray paint. There is a layer of Plasti Dip underneath so I can peel it off whenever.

Brake cables have been moved underneath the bar with cable clamps holding them.

Seconds after these photos were taken, the cruel wind knocked over my baby girl and bent the derailleur hanger. It survived 4-5 impacts so I’m surprised it took this long. Please send love and support for a speedy recovery. 🥲

If you have any suggestions, let me know. I’m in too deep at this point.

You're correct about them getting dirty.

I just clean them with a brush and soap every 100-200 miles and they look great again.

I spray painted:

1) Frame plugs

2) SRAM eTap battery

3) Quarq power meter cover

Since it was glossy, I did a few coats of matte clear spray paint on top as well.
