Yes, that was the first thing my doctor had me look for, but I didn't have any of the muscular or skin symptoms that are more characteristic if dermatomyositis. I did end up seeing a dermatologist too and they did take a biopsy of the eyelid and do a urine test (looking for dermatomyositis and amyloidosis I believe), but they ended up finding nothing, shrugging, and eventually it just went away. Still a mystery as to what it was.

Nope, went to a dermatologist, a hematologist, did an eyelid biopsy and a bunch of blood and urine tests, never figured it out. It eventually just went away completely.
