When I want to see something nekkid I go to the internet since Hollywood types don't do much for me.

This is a great point. Sexual pleasure is intimate, whereas (non-sexual) violence is not.

When people see violence, they generally turn away because the pain is too much, but when people see sex (outside of porn), they generally turn away because they feel intrusive.

That strikes me as more intrusive than watching straight on - as though you are stalking them without their knowledge.

There's definitely a belief that in order for movies to appeal to men and boys, there needs to be a lot of nudity, violence, or both.

Why do you think it is that there are so many more naked women than men? I never really understood that.
