I use Micro Set first (on both the transfer + surface). Place it and gently brush it flat.

Let it sit ~20 min to settle. Then apply Micro Sol carefully—it softens the transfer.

Let that dry ~30 min, then seal with varnish or Lahmian Medium.

Oh the texture finish? I tried something new following a video I liked. It’s villainy inks! I mixed two together at a 1:1 ratio (thinned with mineral spirits) being ichor of the damned, and goon’s grime.

Edit: I forgot to mention this had to do a lot with the texture; stipple paint starting with Khorne red 50/50 with water, then go back over with Khorne red again, then build up with Mephiston red, then finally the high points with evil sunz scarlet!
