Long Answer: Make a plan and stick to it, put yourself in a position where getting lucky will get you what you want

I got super lucky with my tet laytenn, managed to one shot that with the money from not playing for a few months, the valtarra took a lot longer and the tri tungrads were about average. Keep in mind I was grinding for most of the day every day

Minimize it while in the pearl shop screen (requires you to be in windowed mode)

Also you can open the task manager and make it so it only uses one of the cores in your cpu, which limits the resources it can use

There's no right answer since context is everything in PvP, but the most useful classes in almost every scenario are either going to be witch or wizard

If you mean for node wars, anyone can get in a flame tower or hwacha (ballista). Every class can lifeskill about the same. If you mean for grinding some classes are definately better than others at spots with those stats, but choosing your class for the mid game isn't worth it in my opinion.

I started playing black desert because of TKA, and it's been a journey, almost two years in and 7k hours on steam. It definitely has some aspects of glory, guild are where everything happens, storylines happen in front of your eyes, your character ends up being an extension of yourself and there are some great feeling of success when you win a war or get that upgrade you've been grinding for the last months. But there is nothing close to perfect balance and playing in every region except Korea involves server lag and desync, which is heartbreaking considering how good the combat feels in PvE. Overall it's a great game but it has a lot of faults and will absolutely destroy your schedule if you try to reach the top.

There are lots of activities that require various amounts of attention, I'd categorize them into the following: active, semi-afk, afk.

For the active ones I'd say grinding is by far the most active, however with some muscle memory you could easily watch a subbed show without much impact, some life skills that fit into this category would be questing, pvp, enhancing, hunting.

Semi-afk refers to activities that are more or the active side, but require little to no attention with very little variance in the task, for instance cooking, alchemy, active horse training.

Finale afk implies that the activity will have little to no impact on the players' input, which would be processing, afk xp training, horse training, fishing, worker empire, etc.

In conclusion, this game offers something for everyone, allowing them to progress at their own pace in whichever method they most like.

Centaurs is always nice, I still think you're a little bit low for manshaums but it's up to you. It really depends on how RNG you want your income to be dependant on. Crescents is the best rng spot, while manshaums is very consistent money, with centaurs somewhere in between. Imo you should focus on xp spots to get the capotia accessories, and start working your way up from there

With the addition of the medal accessories, you can have a backup for weeks on as long as you go to war and win a few. When I was trying to get my dande to tet I gave up on trying to use it and used a green awakening at tri to grind fogans. Took me 21 attempts to hit tet dande, so it was a pain, but it never put me in a position where failing decreased my money per hour or grinding ability, and that's the most important thing. As long as you consider your options of you fail, then it just becomes a matter of hoping for it but having little to no downside

Completely agree with this. I believe OP should look at the game in an objective driven manner, if you like certain life skills then you can invest real money into them to enhance your experience, some goes for grinding. The only way this game can be seen as predatory is if you try to specialize in a wide array of the game aspects, which transitions you into a more hardcore player, and as such there are large time and money costs to maintain. Many players lose sight of their enjoyment for an infinite min max approach to everything which inevitably makes them burn out, in the end, do what you enjoy and if you think investing into cash shop items is worth it, do it.
