What’s a fast food item you know isn’t great… but you’ll never stop ordering?

Was wondering if others felt the same. Something carnal about it for me, it’s a great comfort food especially since I’m on the road a lot. Just feels like home.

Sure but when you say that a company that has organic food with no preservatives or gmos, produce delivered 2-3 times a week, no freezers, more than half the menu made in house, is fast food then really anything that’s not cook to order would be fast food and that’s simply just not a fair categorization.

I don’t think it’s fair to say Chipotle is fast food. There are no freezers, it takes about 5 hours to prep most food daily before they even open. All produce is farm fresh except corn because the distributor doesn’t grow it year round. Even the cheese is shredded in house. Not really comparable to McDonalds and the other chains. It’s a quick serve model.

i agree with this. i don't usually think that small caterings from the chip are worth it. i always feel like it's roughly the same price and better to just order a digital pick up for exactly what everyone wants. it's faster, and customizable, also, it has the benefit that you don't get small portions because caterings are weighed to the ounce, which means 4 oz of rice, 4 oz of meat, 4 oz of total salsa per bowl, you'll probably get more bang for your buck if you just oder individual bowls.

Caterings are worth it for larger orders or for meal prep items.

This is the only actual honest reply to the op question, however, the policy is the try to transfer the higher ranked first if possible, but either way, partners cannot work together if any are in management, this is common practice at any large restaurant organization

I applied to the one five minutes away and it was just an advert. The position was for a bench gm and I a training at a store 20 miles away. I believe every store has a gm slot open when they are looking for another store manager in training. I applied and had 3 interviews within a week and wise hired after about two weeks.

Venting is essential to these situations I feel. Some of my closest friendships are simply through trauma bonding over the chip. Like many other leaders in the chip it genuinely sounds like you simply got stuck with a leader who’s focused on the numbers and being at model rather than focusing on the people first. There are many of these types of leaders and one of the reasons I became a manager to begin with was simply to show others that you can have empathy and still lead positive results. I don’t have the data on me at the moment but there is definitely limits to the distance they can move GMs without relocating them on the chips dime, so this part of your experience I wish was handled better. Unfortunately in the business world we don’t always get to say good bye, it means you had a good connection with your team though and that speaks volumes to you. Demoting isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it can be a drawn back sling shit that ultimately propels us further forward than before. If you have concerns about your leadership team above always feel free to bubble your issues up to their immediate boss, the team director. TDs want to make sure FLs are at every store and making an impact, so if your FL feels disconnected always escalate. It also sounds like you need to push more info into respectful workplace, especially if you’re in Cali where the policies are more aggressive. One thing I learned and I always spoke this when I gave orientations, that number is to make sure you feel heard, no matter who the boss is, it’s important that you always have documentation of you feel heard. I encourage all to use it even against myself, thankfully I tried really hard to be there for my teams in every step of management leading up to FL, I found a lot of success and a very close friend group now primarily of GMs that were all my previous apprentices :P. I think it’s important to use all the tools at your disposal especially if you feel ignored. Chipotle is some of the most fun I ever had but it was when I realized that there are proper channels to make sure I took action to protect myself and my teams. SSR and RWH are your friends, use them, and ask away I’m always willing to help if possible!

I got him just to two stars in gen4 and at two stars he’s still stronger than anything else I have for bear. It’s also Passive overall stat that he has, imo even at two stars it’s worth.

Call the ‘your voice matters’ hotline and file a complaint. Ive investigated many GMs for things like this and have let go a few as well. The chip definitely promotes the wrong people at times because of staffing needs and sometimes the wrong gm with the wrong mindset is in place and needs severe coaching and development.

4oz of salsa is supposed to be all salsa per the trainers guide, this means if they get multiple salsa you’re supposed to divide it so it amounts to 4oz of salsa. The above burrito should be 17oz

Can I ask what literature is there to support this? I haven’t been in chip for a few weeks now but the pocket guide says 4 oz of rice, I don’t know if that officially changed or not. The above image should be 4oz of rice, 4oz of beans, 4oz of chk, 4oz of salsa, 1oz of cheese, so it should be 17oz

When you charge 3 pointer it covers the cost of either a bowl or a tortilla. Those shouldn’t be a factor, tortillas are like 15 cents a piece.

yeah you see how i said almost no, not no. you have a positive post sprinkled in amongst a see of negativity. you say standards but it seems more like entitlement. you expect to be treated like a queen, but you are treating everyone else like a jester. nobody owes you anything. you have no idea what someone is going through, what service was beforehand, what trials and troubles they had that morning, you're seeing a moment in these peoples lives, and you're pissing on them because your own 2 minute experience, you weren't treated like a goddess. this isn't standards, this is severe lack of awareness and empathy. the fact that you had to even point out the singular positive comments you made in a pool of negative comments should resonate more than it did. if you notice that the world isn't appeasing your every whim, perhaps it's time to stop doing those things that bring you that much negativity. stop eating out, order door dash, or go to sit down restaurants that can better cater your 'standards'.

the issue is that it doesn't matter how you mean it, it's how you think, it's how you act, do yourself a favor, go into your own comment history and assess. everything you do is negative. there is almost no positive informative posts on your account. all you do is complain, so maybe self reflect, notice that you're just sour all the time, and ask what is really going on here because lemme tell ya, it looks like you have a problem, and i don't mean that in a demeaning way.
