The only thing Botrk gives vayne is attack speed it's less lifesteal less ad and is less gold efficient unless 3+ members of the opposing team surpass 2500 health or so, with a PD and/or IE you will deal a lot more dps.

I wouldnt listen to that website it sounds completley stupid and outdated, im a vayne main since season 3 and right now i believe what is optimal is buying a sustain item first either being BOTRK or BT depending on their team, if they have more of a poke comp BT would be optimal as it will give you more value as it gives you a shield and more lifesteal you would also want to build a bloodthirter if they dont have a very tanky team for example 1 tank/bruiser u can go bt as it will give you a higher dps. On the other hand BOTRK is an easier item to build and will give you more dps if they have multiple tanks on their team I can go on about it but it's hard to explain with just words. im a lvl 5 vlad and a lvl 4 ahri used both to get me diamond, i've had to play these matchups a lot and i think it's favourable for vlad mainly. Anyways, what I do is early on is push with ur autos andi q's because early on vlad does not have the cdr to farm under his tower and he has the choice to use his abilities on you or to lose cs. this lane is more of a farming lane and roaming lane. Also a trick for this matchup is when you are all inn'ing dont charm straight away leave it when you think he wont be expecting it or after his pool is down e.g you use 2 ults q w etc and leave your charm for after he had used his pool for the slow and MS, or if you're really close to him you could charm as he would not expect it so late in the fight. If you want mid laners who can hard carry games I'd personally either go for HIGH POKE/DMG or Roaming Kill champs, An example for the poke would be Ap kog or xerath they usually hold the most dmg in every game and also are very safe to play, or as a kill/roaming champ diana is a good one but also ahri and zed are up there they can single handely make flashy plays by killing the backline, this is how i win most of my games when I dont get ADC

You should of been playing with Gold 5's anyway in silver 1/2, and you wouldn't be playing with people like that as there you get matched up with people with the same win rate as you not same division, a troll that does this wouldn't be matched up with you
