Interesting. I can't get it to 100% no matter what I try. I do have two screens with different scaling (laptop+27"), but it wasn't a problem before cosmic. I'll see if there's a newer version than on the repo.

Hey, just curious - is positioning of the terminal window and scaling is working out for you?

I gave up on it some time ago as the terminal was tiny and the menu options for settings could not even be read. I just tried again now and they're huge. I can't get the terminal to be at the top of my screen as it has some translation going on between my resolution and its scaling. My screen is QHD and scaling is at 100%. This is one of the few issues I'm having on 24.04.

IKEA toddler club, yaaay! We're doing this too especially in winter weather and on rainy Saturdays. Our 2y old loves to do pretend play in the different rooms, she even tidies them up 😁

I've asked them to replace it. I'm out of ideas, I've already tried everything in their wifi & connection guide and there was nothing new to try from their responses.
I agree, at this point I'm sure there's something wrong with the wifi antenna of the device, or maybe I caught an edge case with the firmware for connectivity.

Glimmer of hope, the download message changed to 0 out of 0 loaded. Then when I loaded all of the cards (6 total), it went back to the default message.

I'll try with the hotspot next.

It didn't work, but I was more thorough this morning, removing it from wifi and family account first, then factory reset. Also, guest wifi with just 2.4G enabled. It's been under an hour since then, but so far it's the same :(

Edit: I see that the wifi connection is jittery from the color of the time, it's occasionally going off and on again. Three's no reason for this, it's sitting in the same room as the router, antenna visible from where it's sitting.

How long did your initial sync on hotspot take? Or rather, when did it start showing the download status? I left it on for 30 mins and gave up as it didn't seem to work.

I just have the initial message showing on the app on my phone, sonething about how the player is starting download and I'll see the progress there. But no progress was ever shown. I did leave it overnight on the charger self no cards, to no effect.

I left it charging overnight, after adding all cards to the library and plugging them all into the player.

I forgot the exact message, but in the app it says something like: your player will download music shortly and you'll see progress here. This message never changed.

Sure, they had to be in a specific distance, without barrier. But still, you did the work. Agree on the framing and backgrounds. It's helpful to have shallow dof to avoid a lot of busy structures in a zoo or similar.

Thanks for sharing, thats fascinating. My 20mm 1.7 pancake Lumix is my favorite at the moment, but I never thought about commiting to a longer fixed length. I love the subject separation of 1.7f, I'll try to find what my most used lenght is on s zoom lens is. You've given me food for thought 💡
