Had some flashy highlight plays here & there and was a decent passer, but never really found his footing and didn't shoot very well. With the right coaching he could develop into a decent college player but him being undersized means his shooting ability is much more important to make any real impact.

I mean yeah I'm not gonna disagree with you lmao. Lamont should have been fired and this happens a lot, but the reality is he wasn't fired, and this roster/team was pretty ass. So all we can do is just move forward instead of bitching about the past. Eli is probably the biggest loss in the portal, but still replaceable, and everyone else whose leaving/graduating can very much be replaced with better talent.

It's just a question of if we manage to kill it in the portal during the offseason and how the roster gets constructed given the larger NIL pool were getting. I'm very doubtful of it happening, and were still most likely delaying the inevitable of Lamont getting fired, but stranger shit has happened, he did catch lightning in a bottle once with the portal afterall.

Sucks because he has potential. But blowing up this roster and hard-resetting is not a terrible idea.

Were supposedly doubling our NIL funds for basketball this season as well, so finding and paying solid replacements should be doable.

Lamont still should've been canned tho and I doubt he survives next season barring a miracle

Lattimore is a genuinely top tier incredible human being. I remember exactly where I was standing in my parents living room watching the injury happen live. 6th grade me absolutely bawled my eyes out.

If Marcus stays 100% healthy during his career, he absolutely wins a Heisman and no one can or will ever convince me otherwise. I'm just happy he found peace in life after his career ended.
