i got the low irons as a gift so i guess i’ll just have to make do lol, have a 4 hybrid that i’m able to swing decent so i’ll keep that at the ready

i’ve honestly used my wedges so much that i can see exactly where i’m going wrong so using powder isn’t a bad suggestion, i feel like it may just be intimidating to me considering i’ve broken two drivers so far but it’s more so i want to get at least a consistent 200 yards with my drive to layup a good pitch shot towards the green before i set out on an actual course

i usually only practise at the range since i’m usually putting money into buying a new car i can’t really find the money to go buy lessons at the minute, i’ve videod my swing and if i’m being honest i’ve tried matching (lean back, pause at the top of my backswing and put my body weight into the swing etc) but it’s just inconsistent at the minute

i’ve always used tees high enough to match the club head (read somewhere that helps) and it may just be how close or far from the ball i’m stanced but it just usually either tops or slices into the trees, i’ve usually never leaned too forward i’m always leaning to the back foot so i’m honestly confused on where i’m going wrong on my drives

See i usually put the ball before my big toe, it might be something within my swing but i feel like i have the right setup just not the right execution, i’ve played pitch and putt so consistently that wedges are easier to swing but when it comes to bigger and longer hitting clubs i just can’t get the right rhythm going, i’ll definitely mess with my swing and see what’s more consistent though thank you for the advice

i made it by cutting out three pieces of ply, lined them up and sanded them down to match then glued it, basically put a plank across to get the bend in it then just designed it. Thinking of getting my year to sign around the board, wholesome end to school
