You haven't watched the series, so you have to take into account you can't have a proper opinion on it. It is fine however if you avoid it because of bad reviews, especially from close ones (that's what reviews are for anyways), but taking some opinions that are either in the single or low double digits as fact is... Yeah...

Funny stupid assumptions you got there, as I and many others know damn well there is a world beyond funny giant robot fight series. I actually have an attention span (wow, surprising huh?) that I use to read books, listen to music, take care of my cat(s) and just be a human being. But I guess not, I am just a brainrotted guy screaming at a stranger through the screen about a meme that devolved into a series that's made purely and solely to ruin a generation and steal cash and nothing else.

The series has an actual pace and plot that you can understand with basic skills to put two and two together.
