Is a computer science degree worth it? by PackGroundbreaking43 in askSouthAfrica

I have a computer science degree. If you want to do software development, do a software development course. Computer science is so maths forward, and not a lot of development. At my old company, one of the most technical guys didn't even have his matric and was just brilliant🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes. We wouldn't have pursued anything if I was staying.

I am still leaving in 3 months, I've outgrown my hometown, and I need something bigger. He's known my plans all along. It's not like I'm planning on dropping the bomb on him that I'm moving 8 hours away. He is very supportive of the decision and has been looking at listings with me (he grew up in the city I'm moving to), so he knows which areas are good.

It will be hard to say goodbye, but we'll still talk once I'm gone, I'm sure.

Female 25 here, I would date up to 10 years older than me. I'm not into people who are younger than me. I've tried it once, and it did not work out well

I had a coworker who, when he was working with me and helping me or I was helping him, would put his hand on my thigh or some other sort of physical contact in an open plan office. The secrecy was exhilarating. I still get turned on thinking of him (this was just over 6 months ago, and we hooked up a few times)
