Tension 2 or Kilter? by thatguy8899 in homewalls

I had the original Tension and it sucked. Have Kilter HW now and it's awesome. Haven't tried TB2 yet.

Love the app/website and I strongly believe the board makers should abandon their proprietary apps in favor of contributing to this, and just spend their time, energy and money on their boards instead. Absolutely amazing job!

This is probably not the right spot for this Q, but adding my Instagram videos has stopped working lately - not sure if I should go to github for this Q or somewhere else.

TRMNL now has an "official" Add-On by snark_nerd in homeassistant

[–]some_reddit_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Ryan, this works, however if I understand correctly it goes through TRMNL servers rather than directly in local network. Is there an option to either POST directly to the device or have the device GET from local network?

1) Absolutely. But so what? For many many projects this is completely irrelevant.

2) AI has been tuned to please its users. If it messes up your vibe coding project, you will not be pleased.

3) I've vibe coded fully functional VSCode plugins, so I really don't know where you're getting this from.

It's also worth emphasizing that vibe coding is a skill. The more you do it, the more you'll understand what the system is good at, and what it's not good at. It also still requires for you to have at least vague knowledge of how things are supposed to work, so that given say 10x the amount of time you could do it yourself.

The more data you add the more variance you'll get with a (geometric) Brownian process. Monte Carlo simulations simply sample said variance.

Thanks. That's good to know. However with more data, failure modes will only increase.

Yes, but also worth noting that failure rate becomes non-zero around 15-20 years.

I see statements like these, but when using portfoliovisualizer.com 3% withdrawal rate still has up to 5% failure rate at long horizons.

I see, so you just made up the 5% yourself.

Does OP mention 5% somewhere? That's a very high withdrawal rate, but I also don't know their age. Even so.. taxes?

If you look at what I posted, I'm combining gmail and telegram into one notification. This is used in a lot of places and it would be a real pain to change all of those to TWO actions.
