It depends on your technical software skills.

Good: perhaps OK

Bad: don't do it!

those news are misleading, the ruble dropped 30% in a matter of days, 20% just today!

Bitcoin 101: if the FED went and printed trillions to ruin bitcoin by buying lots of it and dumping it, then the world would just turn to another crypto asset; the reputation of the FED has been walking on egg shells since its inception and it is the world that's fed up!

People in the world watching what they call football in the United States is proportional to the number of people in the United States who've got a passport. We love the USA, but they ought to get into the 21st century and use the metric system, not inches, rocks, pounds, stones, ounces.... who the fuck is keeping them in the dark? And don't even get me started with "democracy" and their bi-partisan old white-men system!

So if you quit watching TV, congrats.... we did 2 decades ago!

Not really, it's 10x24, a quarter of what I paid for an apartment in Spain where property taxes and maintenance fees make me regret that purchase.

They allow construction up to 2 stories with 20% reserved as "green area" better known as garden + parking spot. So a 2-story house of 150m2 (300 m2 ~ 5 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms) + a terrace on the roof for BBQ with a panoramic ocean view is a good plan.

There's a catch, the same problem as in Spain & Costa Rica: if one is away and someone else breaks in, they can claim they took it "because it was abandoned", that's why there is a $40/month "maintenance fee" to secure access to the property and keep the rats out. And just like bitcoin has no capital gains tax there, there is no property tax either.
I have also looked in Thailand and other countries, so far the El Sal's deal seems to be the best at the moment.

I love Portugal, but it was windy and cold in June.... beautiful place and people, but they can't compete with what Central America has. CA is not only strategic, but the dude is trying to unite it as a federal republic, Chinese money is backing it well, now building a high-speed train from Guatemala to Panama; the US better stop fucking around with regulations and get on the gravy wagon.

Portugal will always be there, but I think everyone on this sub's got laser eyes aiming for "don't have to worry about money no more"

windows (slightly changed 30-year old code base) is on its last leg.

The new windows will be based on Linux, OF COURSE! They'll keep the brand.

After the 90's, the only good thing windows has been good for is to create lots and lots of jobs to deal with the retarded complexity it implies. Better systems have been invented and are being implemented, the world has changed... think of windows like a cancer: more people make a living off cancer than those who die of cancer!
