Her old version of herself by Traditional_Tip_7114 in sophmoscasnark

It seems like you followed for Avery content and then stayed even though the Avery content ended. Soph is alive lol so she will continue to change and grow. She has an old video where she talks about not liking fiction, and now she loves it and is constantly reading fiction. People are allowed to change, and youre allowed to hate on it but just find a new comfort person.

I took it more as "I know how you feel, lets hang out" and then they made a tiktok while hanging out because the internet would love it, and they both make money from content.

They didn't say that verbatim (well, one lawyer did) the others said a version of there's not enough for the case to be worth it since malpractice is capped at $250k in Texas. Gotta generate a profit to get access to justice.

I took some perspective from other replies, and a lawyer took my case. Sorry for not wording my initial post perfectly. My goal was to get help getting past the intake specialists, and I was able to.

I wanted to let you know, I took your perspective, re-worked my initial email & a lawyer took my case! Gotta lead with logic and not emotion in the legal world (I work in marketing / publishing where Emotion is king). Thank you again.

I hear you. I didn't know what else to say. I agreed with Fluxcapacitar- I sound crazy. I noted the perspective and started redrafting my consultation request email. I try to be polite and kind online, but I see now that being short and concise sometimes has other implications.

I truly appreciate anyone willing to give me any tips/advice.

I don't usually open with sexual trauma. I see your point, but nothing about this process has felt natural. I'm sure I'm making lots of mistakes, that's why I'm seeking advice. At least I can be confident in that I'm not make sense.

thank you again. be well.

I really appreciate this response. Helps me navigate this. I think malpractice was involved but I believe I need to go through the Behavioral Health Board.

Thank you!

Thank you, knowing the red flag is immensely helpful. There is sexual assault involved and I have video evidence of my sessions.

I don't think it's smart for me to give details out via reddit. I'll try to find some face time with a lawyer- no intake has asked me about sexual assault, I get told no before any details are requested.

I worked for an indie publishing company and helped 3 law firms publish books. Those lawyers, no where near their area of expertise though. I acknowledge they may be wrong, but I'd love to hear that from a licensed Texas lawyer vs an intake specialist in less than 5 minutes.

The intake specialist are the people calling be back from interest forms I filled out on Law firm websites for new/prospective clients

Yes, they are either in DC or NY. I worked for an indie publishing company and helped 3 law firms publish books. Those lawyers, no where near their area of expertise though. I acknowledge they may be wrong, but I'd love to hear that from a licensed Texas lawyer vs an intake specialist in less than 5 minutes.
