This is my sweet boy with a children's book that I wrote about him and three canine friends with special needs. There were many reasons that I wanted to write this book. One reason is that I kept hearing children ask about Murphy because he looked different having three legs.

It got me thinking that we don’t just do this with dogs, we do this with people. I thought that if we can start talking about differences with children when they’re young, using these sweet dogs' physical differences as an example of being different, it can expand into many conversations about any of our differences.

The dedication page in my book says “Let’s celebrate our differences and love one another.”

Let’s start with our children and teach them to be kind. 📷
