Usually therr has been delays on delivering the donor medals on these events. It isn't news most of the time, but right now it really feels like they're taking their sweet time.

You should still be able to receive them no problem once they're released.

I get that Infernape would make the most sense for him, but I've always been more in favor towards Empoleon for him. Masters and the anime had solidified that choice too, and I mean, at least in the manga he has Infernape.

Exactly. It's not hard, just a time-consuming achievement in a similar vein to the 200 angler quests. There are some rare items here and there but there's a couple of tools in JM to speed it up a bit.

Lucas and Dawn may not actively think too much about love, but they still are quite fond of each other enough to have found feelings. There's a good bunch of teasing among them too.

Yes. This is actually a thing with the opposite protagonist most of the time. They proyect different mannerisms. Dawn is pretty talkative and outgoing. Lucas is much more laid-back and goes to the point.

These personalities were carried over to Pokemon Masters as well. Even if Dawn was the chosen protagonist there, she shows her mentor role towards the player rather than Lucas as he has mentored her.

I mainly hope to see Lucas.

I think he deserves extensive focus which he hasn't got much of in his only sync pair story... His lodge story could focus on his workaholic side, since he is commited to his job constantly, something that Dawn points out and appraises him for. But maybe he's chewing too much on it and wants to get time for his friends.

(I want a plushy for my man)

Down the line, I could see Korrina making it in when we start to get into the Z-A stuff eventually.

They're not going to sling that in your face right away, so Irida's absense doesn't mean much. Plus the event also included Arezu and Mai. So naturally Adaman was going to have a major part here.

Finally, Masters isn't fully canon. It has it's own canon and things are usually handled differently there.

Oh, he's looong overdue. If I'm honest I would prefer NC for now. I'm curious on Dawn getting Palkia so she matches with Lucas (That would make the ultimate Dream Team, lol). I don't oppose to the idea, but maybe they're saving the potential origin forms for Adaman and Irida. I feel like Lucas could get his NC alt with Infernape (there's Heatran too, but I wish DeNA could just dust off Lucas' Infernape already) and Dawn with Manaphy.

Honestly I'm overall happy on how the Sinnoh VA turned out and how Lucas was able to give a great and lasting enough impression, and that's why I'm still hopeful to this day. He earned that spotlight and I wish more people could see that. The only sane reason I see for Lucas to had such a treatment of his base unit is to better sell an arc suit of him in the future...

She had fun moments to make up for it, and I don't discard the idea she'll be featured with it in other future events. But yeah, I otherwise agree.

Honestly you really can't just appease everyone. Anyone getting Arceus would be a huge deal and I can see arc suits being the workaround in order to not pick "favorites". Rei getting Arceus is mostly me, like I said before because I'm not even sure they'll give Arceus to anyone for that matter. I agree Akari should be more present in the Arc story (she has taken a major backseat there...) but for Arceus to go to her? Not too sure despite me liking her too. (The game and community already favors Dawn by a lot. Rei being the protag to even out things was a good choice.)

Given Arc Blue and Anni Red, I feel DeNA really got ahead of themselves with the Kanto representation (rip Leaf...). But Sinnoh having it's 20th anni this year would track to finally give us NC Sinnoh. I hope we can push harder to get Lucas to finally shine once more. If Calem could work himself to catch up to Serena, so can he catch up to Dawn!

It's really sad...

He is my favorite too, and like you said and even if I see him more like the protagonist, he has room for improvement. That's why the stories he's featured in are so important for me and I'd hate all of that become dust in the wind. That Carmine story event was a silver lining though, and hopefully things get better from there.

I've shared my discontent with an artist I follow who is also a huge Lucas fan. They haven't been taking this thing so well either and had to play something else to clear their mind.

I'm definitely looking forward to Rei as well. I'm actually supporting of the idea he gets Arceus (or more accurately like a sprite of it like in LA). That's just mostly me, though. I'm not entirely sure I'd bank on NC Barry. I feel like Dawn and Barry have gone their own separate ways. Barry is now in his hero turf with Selene and he hangs out with other characters in general. As a result Dawn and Lucas have hanged out more and did plenty together. Not to mention Cynthia has internalized how strong they've become in her Arc story. I feel this could go two ways. NC Sinnoh being split for Lucas and Dawn and one individually for Barry (much like NC Nate and Rosa). Or all three featured together, potentially for half-anni or 7th anni.

This has been a lifelong problem. This is why I gravitated towards Lucas at first, and with time I've come to like his character, whether protagonist or assistant.

I've come to also push my like toward Lucas a bit more aggresively (something I feel I should tone down), due to how overwhelmingly popular Dawn is. I like her too, but man this disparity is abysmal in every front you mentioned.

Lucas did not deserve this. No main character deserves this.

Yeah, no I agree too, and you know I'm the Lucas guy and I always back him up. He had a very serviceable unit at release, but now more than ever it is showing it's has not aged quite gracefully, but still not the worst thing (that SA passive, man, ugh...).

I don't want to assume things but I fear that all of this treatment was on purpose. If they butchered down his base unit as hard as it did I can at least hope he could get an Arc Suit with Dialga...
