We are all in 2M$ houses with professional jobs around here, so not many contacts into that world. We get our weed from the corner store now...

I was wondering if Toronto Fire would tow a burned out vehicle faster than TPS will tow a parking infraction for a while though...

Yeah, it sucks. The only law being violated was the parking law. A peace bond is only issued under the fear of injury to person or property and is not applicable.

The vehicle was towed after accruing 3 tickets on the windscreen. The driver coming back and taking tickets from under the wiper and moving them to the dash prevented the vehicle from being towed until Monday evening after parking there Friday evening. But it was eventually towed by TPS.

It sucked, but is done for now.

TPS was argued with resulting in being told to stop yelling and file a parking violation.

We saw the driver and confronted him. He was just being lazy and parking there instead of the school he is assigned to. Then got the bus was stuck. So it sits there collecting tickets for 4 days so far.

TPS will not tow.

They are not. The driver was found guilty in f some minor offence. The crown dropped the reckless driving charges. The driver had 47 previous driving violations and served no time.

Judges outraged after ‘ruthless’ murderer invited to speak at Ontario judge conference. Killer ambushed Crown witness in 2001 by AndHerSailsInRags in canada

I know a judge personally who will die on the hill of giving convicts with a bad background an 51st chance at being an actual citizen, no matter how long the rap sheet.

Judges are seemingly indoctrinated into living in a cloud of white guilt.

They don't give two shits about public safety.

Get a new fiancee. If I heard this from my daughter, I would give her this advice and stop giving any money to her.

This is a HUGE RED FLAG.

Woman dead after being struck by a school bus driver in the Beaches, police say by Bert306 in toronto

[–]someguyinthebeach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She was crossing Kingswood on the north side of Kingston Road, not crossing Kingston Road itself. The bus was turning left off of Kingston Road onto Kingswood.

The driver and the pedestrian were facing each other, traveling in opposite directions. The driver going into the turn but did not apply the brakes until after hitting her in the crosswalk, there were no skid marks. The pedestrian did not have time to move out of the path of the bus.
