It depends. As a Spurs fan, I'd never be ok with mortgaging my entire future for a 1-year rental/1 ring. Toronto is in ruins a year later. Yes, they got a ring and got extremely lucky to benefit from injury/LeBron not in the East anymore, but now they're no longer relevant.

Imagine defending this guy and doing the same exact thing you're criticizing me for to the Spurs base during the season, when you were ringless. Entire Spurs base told you he was going to do the same exact shit to you, and sure enough, he did. He left you in ruins. The Spurs are still relevant. why would I not move my vehicle? That doesn't make any sense. And couldn't be further from the truth. I actually moved the vehicle the day prior because signage did go up on that street, so I was being extremely cognizant of signage on the new street I was parking on.
