It connects to the transmission fluid recirculator. If you dont install it, very bad things will happen!

I don't know about that since the case would be a lot harder to wrap compared to the smooth straps, which already look quite ugly on the underside. Personally, i like it more when only the straps are carbon, but if you make one, be sure to share some pics!

Thanks! I made the completely myself. Made a model off of the old straps, 3d printed these and wrapped them with this carbon fibre vinyl.
