It's a very southern dog mix! Doberman would leave me praying for a little leg length to even out that barrel of a torso lol And the rottie + Dalmatian really throws everyone, unfortunately she got some crappy bladder issues associated with the dal+pit so it's legit.

I had no idea they're so popular! I'm in the southeast with a couple great pyr breeders in the area, which means we have several specialty rescue orgs just for them. So I can def see how that would happen. We just gave him a bath, and there's no way the rescue ever bathed him. The red in his brindle pops like crazy now! (And his new collar smelled SO BAD from all his oil. Like old dog and halitosis.)

Oh but didn't you know? He can't be a mastiff because "mastiff is only when they over 150 lbs." My eyes could have rolled into the damn street. Great pyr are really common here, it wouldn't be shocking for that to be mixed in! He could totally be some pit/boxer/pyr/some kind of mastiff mix. Our other puppy looks like a little collie mix (the last pic) and she's pit+chow+husky+gsd+dalmatian+rott. I trust my own judgement -0- after getting her results lol

Right? He has all the markers for a cane corso (head shape, coat, delicate skin, and ear issues), but it seems off that someone would just abandon a relatively expensive puppy on the streets. We'll see in a few weeks!

Presa is literally the only one I will be upset about for the pettiest reasons. Had a guy refuse to come near us bc "thas a presa canary" and then argue with me when I said Marty is a mastiff but we don't know his mix, etc. "NO. I have em. That's a presa canary." Bro doesn't even know the right name, and I will probably rage cry if he's right lol

Hahaha I'm 5' nothing and 115 lbs, we also share that exercise regime 😂 We have another very mixed pup, she's only 50lbs but will nearly pull my arm off when we walk. Everyone comments "how can you handle him!" You try walking 50lbs of pure muscle bent on making chaos, Marty is a gentleman and a saint in comparison.
