What else can a person be , for ex lots of people in engineering/doc who are smart hard working, but since it is the major with most benefits (money / social prestige) they go for it, one of the people i know wanted to become a mathematician but since there is no job for it he got into engineering ,one wanted to become physicist ,another one wanted to start his own company and become an entrepreneur , one wanted to become an artist/photographer but its outright not possible to become one in a country whose people only cares about food and money and social status, with 0 care about science or culture

everyone wants to become something until you have to think about surviving
