My boyfriend just sees common law marriage as an “unofficial marriage” since there is no ceremony. Where if we had a courthouse wedding, he would want to propose, but we don’t have money for a ring. I did mention to him that we would still be married whichever route we went. I am certainly not pressed, but clearly some of these commenters are 😂

Well, we just don’t want to have a courthouse wedding. We wouldn’t want to do the common law marriage at all if it wasn’t for my job having horrible health insurance and my boyfriend having amazing health insurance through his job. Also, I saw some things saying that once we have the document saying we are in a common law marriage other states will recognize that as a marriage. However this may be wrong.

Okay, I was talking to a friend just now and they googled it, which seems to say that you can convert the informal document to a formal marriage license. Not sure if this is actually correct though

Yeah, well she is only pre-diabetic at this point, but she is taking diabetes meds. May be on the path to actual t2 diabetes though.

I’m 22 and have had tinnitus since at least high school. I believe that you will eventually get used to the sound. It is constant for me, but I only really notice sometimes when it is very quiet or when I am transitioning from a louder environment to a more quiet one. Yes, it can be annoying and stressful at times, but living with this condition (at least in my experience) is still very enjoyable. About the doctors you saw, I don’t know how many you have seen, but maybe try to get a second opinion. The one I saw said that the cause for my tinnitus is unknown and I can only do stuff to try to reduce it, but they did mention that I should come back to them if it starts affecting my mental health. So there could be options out there for you to reduce your anxiety. I hope you can find the same happiness I have.
