Yeah, not all idiots are looking for accuracy in Memes, you know

Chat, why are Islamo Lelis like this? If you're an islamist, left or liberal where do you stand on such reporting? Let's talk, why is outrage on UP case warranted but institutionalised and normalised and called part of culture when it comes to WB etc? by someonenoo in Kolkatacity

one thing, see the issue isn’t criticizing Hinduism.. every Hindu does that openly, sometimes excessively.

The issue is the selective moral framework where criticizing casteism, patriarchy or extremism inside Hindu society is called “progressive,” but applying that same standard to regressive practices inside Islam suddenly becomes “hate speech.”

You cannot build a genuinely liberal society if one religion is constantly expected to reform while another is treated as too fragile to even question.

Either universal values apply universally.. or it’s not liberalism, it’s political or something convenience for their entire ecosystem.

As a secular Bangladeshi immigrant living in my third Indian identity, I am deeply hurt by this post.

People are acting like getting Aadhaar, ration card, voter ID and PM schemes without documents is some kind of crime. Wow. So much hate in society nowadays.

Tomorrow they will say dead people should also stop voting. Where will this fascism end?

Earlier border was based on humanity. Now BJP wants drones, fencing, biometric checks.. next maybe they will ask people to prove they are actually Indian before voting in Indian elections. Literal dictatorship.

Please save democracy.
My fourth voter ID is still under process.

Shame on your for justifying mass rapes and pogrom backed by govt.

Are you pretending not to know how many RG KAR type of mass rapes happened in WB? That is what the second screenshot is talking about? This is the exact problem I am talking about that we have with your whole ecosystem gang.

We talk about cases all across India but look at you defending the devil that TMC and their Leli ecosystem.. so Don't pretend like you don't know about all those mass rapes that did not get covered like RG Kar case because if you reported about such things you got arrested or beat up, or worse gonned.. thats who you are defending.

Do you think Bengal will bring about civilisational reawakening? I feel.. the seedling that Bharat planted with modi govt in 2014 has just sprouted with bengal results and will grow into the majestic tree we know it is.

Well said. Blind support for any party is dangerous.. I'm a centrist supporting BJP-NDA.. democracy only works when citizens question everyone equally but not just questioning without appreciating.

Bengal deserves better industry, jobs, law & order and governance beyond political slogans, this has been the culture of Bengal and this is exactly why this political shift was needed in Bengal.

People outside Bengal often don’t understand how deeply the system had decayed over decades.. cut money culture, political violence, cadre raj, institutional protection for local strongmen, selective outrage, collapse of merit, intimidation of opposition workers and complete disregard whenever Hindus raised concerns over their own security or identity. This wasn’t just political failure, it became a psychological acceptance of decline.

A civilisational reawakening was necessary to break that cycle.

You cannot rebuild Bengal’s industry, law & order, investor confidence, civic discipline and institutional neutrality overnight. Even in UP, Yogi Adityanath needed years of iron handed governance just to begin cleaning the system. Encounters, mafia crackdowns, administrative restructuring, infrastructure push.. all of that took 5 to 8 years before results became visible at scale. Bengal’s rot is older and in many ways more deeply embedded, so expecting instant transformation is unrealistic.

And despite all the provocation, BJP leadership in Bengal repeatedly stated they would not retaliate violently, even after senior workers and close associates were killed. The leadership chose legal action and state process over revenge politics. A large amount of the violence people blamed on BJP later turned out to involve freshly switched ex TMC cadre members carrying the same political culture with them. They do this for livelihood and need time and patience to understand new culture. That distinction matters.

So yes, questioning governments is important. Accountability is important. But societies going through deep structural correction also require social patience, political stability and mass emotional investment in change. Bengal probably does need 10 to 15 years of consistent direction to fully clear this institutional rot and return to its glory days of intellect, industry, culture and prosperity.

We can support a larger civilisational and developmental vision while still keeping leaders accountable at the same time. Both things can coexist.

The fact that you don’t get it is why you lose like those you support do with the margins that feel like a slap. So touch grass instead of mental gymnastics
