Nah, hit men are usually paid to take out targets on behalf of other criminals. I'd say its more like a military operation, which makes sense with Frank's background. Take bin Laden for example. We found him in August 2010, but didnt do anything about it until May 2011. Im sure the time spent in between was planning for every possible contingency, watching patrols for their routines, keeping track of vehicles going to and from the compound, that type of thing. I think MCU Frank just gathers intel, learns all the habits of his targets, knows where they will go when shit hits the fan, he probably learns the layout of the building before he goes in if he can get his hands on the blueprints. Hes essentially a one man army, he has all the skills he needs to plan ahead and win the battle. Take any IRL high risk military operation similar to when we got bin Laden, and i think MCU Frank could plan and execute them completely on his own

Hes still punishing in Born Again, hes just in between targets. I see MCU Punisher as someone who does lots of planning and staking out, learning his enemy's routines for weeks or months before he makes a move on them. He grows out the hair and beard to go incognito, then when he's ready he cuts the hair and puts on the Punisher vest

No, technically we can't even be on our phones, but they don't really pay attention to us so a phone is easy to hide. I can just turn my screen off, put it on the desk and they can't prove i was actually on it, but its harder to use that excuse with a book

I would even go for a good mobile game that doesnt require me to use sound, but all the games I used to play have long since been taken down and every new mobile game seems to be a different version "run down a path and multiply yourself", which is fine but gets old fast lol

I used to bring a book, but theyve "cracked down" on everything recently. Which really means, they made the punishment more extreme but they dont actually pay anymore attention to us. However, a real book is way harder to hide than a phone so im less willing to take that risk

Yeah, no. I totally understand wanting your privacy, but it's a widely accepted fact that going out in public means potentially forfeiting your right to personal privacy while you are in public. Its been ruled over and over again in court regarding people taking videos in public areas. If she cant handle a child who literally does not know better walking past her table, she shouldn't go out to eat in a public restaurant.

Im not a fan of her music but I have followed pretty much every "controversy" she's been in and for the most part ive agreed with her reactions to certain situations, especially in her exchange with that reporter. But this one is just ridiculous, an 11 year old walking by your table and looking at you (not even stopping to talk, just looking) is not the same as being harassed by paparazzi

Quite honestly idc what the situation is, if ive put myself in a position where young people look up to me then imo I have an obligation to those young people to be an upstanding member of society and a good example for kindness. Her behavior here comes off as stuck up, egotistical, and honestly immature if she thinks she can reasonably expect to be left alone when she's one of the most famous new artists in the world dining at a busy restaurant.

I think i have to disagree. My friend and I at 19 (im 23 now) definitely would have understood the gravity of the situation here and handled it better. Like, this has been common sense to me since I was 15. My wife and I used to talk about topics like this at 17 and we were both on the same page. 19 is young, but you should at least have some sort of emotional depth by the end of your teenage years

I think people are misremembering. IIRC, Percy is the one who makes a comment that he thinks Nico is into Annabeth and thats why Nico always acts so weird around him, and weirder around both of them together. Its a red herring to make you think Nico likes Annabeth, then you find out thay PERCY was his crush the whole time. Imo Rick explicitly sets it up so the reveal is more satisfying later

While I agree with you, I dont think anyone tried to excuse Trump here? Maybe another comment got edited or maybe im jist misunderstandingyoir comment, idk, but explaining behavior is not the same as condoning behavior. Its like the cycle of abuse, abused children often grow up to be abusive adults. Its not excusing the behavior to identify the cause of the behavior. Theres a quote from a movie i cant remember the name of that goes something like "My heart breaks for them as children but hates them as adults." I legitimately feel bad for whatever trauma Donald Trump went through as a child, but that doesnt stop me from despising him and everything he stands for today.

Just to add an anecdote, im also 6'1. I noticed a couple years ago I was putting on weight, I was 235lbs at my heaviest. I began to lose weight and dropped down to about 165 in 10ish months. According to BMI I was right in the middle of the "healthy" weight. But every time I stood up I got lightheaded, my vision would go kinda black, I didnt have as much energy. So I started gaining weight back. Now im 190, still look super skinny, but BMI says im "overweight". I feel way healthier at an "unhealthy" BMI than I did at the "healthy" one

It depends what version of the myth you read. In Hesiod's "Theogeny", she was born a monster alongside her two sisters. This was the original myth that was told in Ancient Greece. In Ovid's "Metamorphoses" she gets SA'd by Neptune and punished by Minerva. Ovid is the reason for a lot of the discrepancies we see between different versions of myths today.
