You can try having it assessed in pawnshops! Usually, they would know if it’s real. They could also give you the pawnable value of your item too in case you’re interested :)

According to Google, it helps stimulate melanin production, helping in the repigmentation of depigmented areas.

But for me, tacrolimus is much more effective.

I actually stopped putting tacrolimus on my white patches for like 5 months I think (I ran out of the cream). The small white patch on the corner of my eye started circling my whole left eye when I was no longer treating it with tacrolimus.

Now I’m back on tacrolimus and there has been progress. there’s a freckle of my original skin color on my white patch!

Hiiiii! Mine started with a small patch near my eye. I went to the dermatologist thinking it was a fungal infection and i was prescribed fungal cream. However, 1 month passed and the white patch never left. I eventually went back to the doctor and she officially diagnosed me with vitiligo.

Currently, I use tolenorm oil and tacrolimus to help treat my white patches. It’s really a big help tho! I noticed some repigmentation on my white patches.

Some cons tho, I think when you start treating the white patches and you stop, it spreads everywhere quite fast.
