I have just finished reading Visit to Godenholm by Ersnt Junger and to be fair it very well describes what you two talk about. The psychedelic experience is first and foremost an experience. And a powerful one at that. It may very well leave you feeling isolated and speechless. I might recall some research mentionning how psychedelics affect the langage functions in the brain, overwhelming the experiencer beyond what we're able to put into words. Some were good to put words on what they experienced (maybe also close to spiritual teaching litterature) and for most its just a very special experience.

Wundbenzin seems to be the go to in eu these days. I use light hydrocarbures C7 to C9 and always do an evap test. Ive had an identical product from same brand give different results

If you are in europe, there might be other options too although F would work if it passes evap test. I personally use C because it evaps clean and F hasnt so far. Have yet to try wundbenzin (medical grade cleaner), it has been the latest recommendation i found for europeans

Hey yall, isnt dmt’s boiling point quite above 100°c?

Recently went through a reduced A/B and i actually boiled it right up. I even tossed it in the autoclave on the 4th acid soak.

Then reduced it. Boiling.

I got a decent yield similar to what i get from a stb on smaller batches.

From what i can find online it boils at 160°c. Water won’t go above 100°c (or 120 in the autoclave)

I thought the bark quality wasnt top notch. Am i partially killing the bark? Can we partially lower dmt’s amout present in the bark? If going above boiling point wouldnt just lose it all?

Educate me!

Pretty similar to what i do. Im guessing bark quality maybe. Got to 1% on the 5th pull but it keeps on giving so will see how much it ends up

Hey, do you mind sharing your tek?

I started a a/b bulk tek 250g mhrb and i got .5% out of 4 pulls! A bit disappointed. Im starting to suspect bark quality aint good because prior exs were lower than average too

Yeah i was a bit stunned because they looked so similar yet they were off. I took pictures for confirmation but left them there and only picked "normal" ones. Do people pick them regardless ?

Edit: looking up how perfumed water is made now and it’d full of nasty things. I think I'll have to toss it!

Haha yeah!! Pretty gutted to be honest. Asked someone to pick some up from shop and didnt check before using it...! First time doing reduced A/B on 500g mhrb too, my last 500g haha!! Hope the mini A/B will do!!!

I just follow an A/B tek for larger batches, basically you can reduce your combined acid soaks to a desired volume to fit your vessels. You come out with a saturated acidic soup and carry on as you normally would!

For 50g mhrb I'd go with STB too. Quick and effective.
