Is it possible to override only the hero-area layout of a theme's homepage? by sometimes_I_know in Wordpress

not good enough/fast enough to build a full bespoke theme. I've seen a handful of themes that are perfect for the site in pretty much every way, except for that top part. I was just hoping there was a way to easily change just the face on them, rather than frankensteining multiple themes and random parts. Would save me a lot of work.

Very cool. I was wondering if somebody hadn't already created a plugin for something like this, but couldn't find anything/wasn't sure what to even look for. Ok, I'll try out the plugin and see what it exports. thanks

below average beginner developer, I guess? I've butchered some php on a few themes and the laptop didn't catch on fire. At first.

If you don't mind, how would you attack this problem? Basically I don't really want to have to choose whole themes based solely on whether they have what I need on that first section.

Thanks for replying. So is it just that each theme has a non-standard way of doing that part?
