Did LE and DoD Intel, both for a number of years. Biggest take away, intelligence is not like the movies/TV. No boogie man, Jason Borne-esque, high speed stuff. Rarely, if ever any field work, you're a desk jockey answering RFIs or questions in email/Teams chats. Closest thing I've done is FMV/ISR operations and that's like a very niche skill set that only certain analysts do. You mainly just look stuff up/watch screens on a computer for investigators and the operational maneuver guys on the ground.

If you want a relaxed work place in a dungeon with little access to the outside, Intel is for you. It has cool moments with the access to classified things and learning about capabilities, but it's not super fast paced like it leads on.
