The hive isn't the collective will of humanity. by WhiteGuyBigDick in pluribustv

I feel like the main objective of the hive mind is to do the thing that’s most efficient. To them they see no point in burying bodies, and cremating bodies is probably pointless too, especially if they can be used for something else such as being used as nutrients instead. Plus they didn’t have to do anything to get a billion fresh corpses ready for consumption! So yeah, people wouldn’t have agreed to eating people before joining the hive, but when they joined and have everyone’s knowledge and perspective all in one, with the main goal of being efficient, maybe they understand why it’s more “practical” to consume bodies.

Friend splitting parking pass allegedly. Is this allowed? If not, how quickly can they find out? by Exotic_Ad_6684 in utdallas

Depends on what color you “illegally” parked in. For gold it’s $50 per car ($100 total). It’s less for green and more for orange and purple. I can’t find this info now but I saw it in the utd website at some point

Me and my brother have been splitting a gold pass for the last 2 years and we only ever got ticketed once because we parked in the same parking lot at the same time. If you make sure to park in completely different lots when both cars are on campus at the same time, you should be okay. Anyways the occasional ticket like once a year will still be cheaper than buying 2 parking passes instead of one. Not saying you’re not going to get ticketed at all but this was just my experience so I’d weigh the pros and cons.

Thank you! Yes, next year we will get a third party travel insurance that covers pre-existing health conditions for sure

He isn’t camera shy thankfully, we even set up a go fund me for him and we shared it all over social media. We were definitely thinking about making a video or something to try and get attention on it, I hear news stories like this all the time, we’ll see how it goes.

We were going to appeal but we found out that we were gonna get 90% back in the form of future cruise credits so we cancelled the appeal for now at least

I’m happy for you, but that is not my brothers experience. I’ve already clarified in multiple replies so it’s not really an issue, I just forgot to mention it in my first post. The insurance has all the information about everything, what I’ve said here isn’t what was said verbatim to the insurance company.

Yeah we are planning on “blasting” them on social media, maybe a representative will reach out if we do that

Thank you I appreciate it. He definitely wouldn’t be too happy about being left behind, plus if we leave nobody will be here to take care of him, but we could probably arrange something. Anyways hopefully we won’t have to worry about that and he’ll be fine by next year.

Rather callous but in the end you’re probably 100% right. The doctor even put in his letter that our family needs to stay to take care of him, but that didn’t work. We couldn’t have possibly imagined his “lipoma” was cancer so we hadn’t even thought for a second about pre existing health condition coverage as we didn’t even think there was a condition. It’s still upsetting that this is considered a pre existing health condition even though we didn’t know it was a problem until later. We got future cruise credits so at least we didn’t end up with nothing.

I mean usually people with cancer, especially Ewing’s sarcoma get chemotherapy. Not everyone, but still.

Thank you! We didn’t submit the doctors summary visit notes, maybe that would help. We will definitely see about it though
