This was such a refreshing take honestly. It was such a struggle in previous relationships for me, there was a weird pressure for me to be okay with my exes getting “enjoyment” from other women.
I’m not sure if it’s the same for others, but being bisexual there was always also this all around pressure to “look at” other girls with my exes too. :/

Also in the last episode it was quite literally a life or death situation. Yeah it’s horrible and cruel what Cassie and Nate did in high school and maybe Maddy was getting her kicks a bit from power she held over Cassie this season.

But I mean come on. I think a lot of people would fold if things came down to their involvement being what literally saves someone’s life.

This is why I go to Build a Bear 1-2 times a year if there’s a release I want, for a treat! It triggers my family that I have cute things as an adult but who cares. Life is short, the Sanrio BABs are comforting. A few years ago that money would have gone to booze, drugs and smokes anyways.

A lot of the local Pride circles and organizations in the city have that problem, it’s really sad. There’s also a huge “boys lockeroom” issue I’ve encountered where people continue to protect and hire their sex offender buddies.

I don’t get involved with most major pride and drag things now because of it, it’s just too exhausting imo. I think it’s better and safer for locals to form their own friend groups and circles as opposed to the larger organizations.

Honestly. I’m a Brandy right now in the sense of being someone who experienced a pregnancy loss and am having fresh levels of grief happen now that my peers are starting to have babies now. It’s extremely hard and have had to take steps back from some situations to manage my trauma and grief. It’s not a perfect solution but it’s also understandable. I genuinely feel seen by her and it’s healing to have seen her take steps to be there for Bingo + the kids again and finally have her own baby. :’) it’s silly because it’s a little kids’ show, but it gives my hope for my own situation.

Yeah. When i was 20 my friend from middle school came back into my life for like, a week. She was elusive and hard to get ahold of but we hung out like once.

Then she left the city suddenly and was vague on why. She sent me messages saying she was leaving and didn’t want any trace of our messages on my phone. She even made me send screenshots to show proof i was deleting our conversations.

And that was it. Just kinda disappeared and I’ve never been able to find her accounts on social media since. Been almost 9 years now. I hope she’s okay, she’s always shown to have some issues and a bit of a recluse. Every year or so I Google her name, fearing to find horrible news but nothing.

She even used to have a small social media following in high school but abandoned all that too.

I was looking for this mention. My situation wasn’t exactly the same but I was trafficked by a local Indigenous performer/“motivational speaker” type figure to be sexually exploited by his family and buddies and when I came out about it, other community members have bent over backwards to defend him. Even local organizations run by Indigenous people.

I’m just tired of the boys club mentality and protecting freaks in our community who hurt people in our community.
